Solar panels in Baldivis

Is solar worth it in Baldivis?

Baldivis is on the Synergy/SWIS network in Perth's southern suburbs, averaging about 4.9 peak sun hours a day, which gives strong, dependable conditions for rooftop solar. WattMate doesn't sell hardware or install systems. We help you compare WA installers in the WattMate network and check that a quote actually stacks up.

Solar in Baldivis: a rooftop-solar frontrunner

Baldivis has repeatedly ranked as one of Australia's leading suburbs for rooftop-solar take-up, so plenty of your neighbours have already made the switch. It is an owner-occupied family growth corridor that has been built out since the 1990s, which means a lot of local, comparable roofs to benchmark a fair quote against.

Which rebates apply in Baldivis?

Three rebates may apply to a solar and battery install in Baldivis: federal STCs for panels, the WA Residential Battery Scheme for eligible Synergy customers, and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program for batteries. The list below gives the rates and conditions.

• WA Residential Battery Scheme — a rebate of $130/kWh of battery capacity, up to $1,300 (10kWh cap), for eligible Synergy customers on a Supported Solutions List system.
• Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discounts battery storage on top, through Small-scale Technology Certificates.

How much could you save with solar in Baldivis?

Real savings depend on your roof, your usage and the system you choose, so we don't quote a single headline figure. WattMate's energy hub calculators give an estimate tailored to your home, and WattMate's quote checker shows whether an existing quote's pricing and rebates are fair.
