Questions people ask
Is the report really free?
Yes, for households. The first results need no details. The full report is free too; asking for it is what sends your details to installers.
What do I need to give you?
For the first results: an electricity bill and a few answers about your home. For the full report: your name, phone, email and address, so installers can size and price the job.
What's in the report?
What solar, a battery, both or neither would do for your home, compared on your own usage; the rebates you may qualify for; and where each figure came from. It's an estimate to help you compare quotes, not a quote and not advice.
Who sees my details?
Nobody, until you ask for the full report. Then between 1 and 3 WA installers covering your suburb, who also get a copy of the report. You can opt out at any time.
Is WattMate an installer?
No. We're independent and we're not the installer. Installers pay us a flat referral fee, never a percentage of your price.
Already have a quote?
