Founded in 2026 in Perth, WattMate was built by a team with 15 years in the WA solar industry — installing, servicing, and watching customers get caught out by the same handful of tricks. We're not owned by a retailer or a large energy company, unlike many of the “independent” comparison sites Australians have trusted for years. We're not an installer either — we're the independent layer that verifies installers, checks pricing, and gives you the tools to decide with confidence.
