WattForce HQ · about us
Independent · transparent flat fees · WA-only
Fighting dodgy deals and bill shock, one rooftop at a time.
We're the independent layer between you and the installer — never an installer, never a salesperson.

The solar industry has a reputation problem. Too many Australians have been burned by pushy salespeople, hidden fees, and poor-quality installations. Getting a fair quote shouldn't require an engineering degree.
Founded in 2026 in Perth, WattMate exists because too many Perth homeowners were getting caught out by the same handful of tricks — pushy sales, hidden fees, poor installs. We're WA-focused, and we're not owned by a retailer or a large energy company, unlike many of the “independent” comparison sites Australians have trusted for years. We're not an installer either — we're the independent layer that verifies installers, checks pricing, and gives you the tools to decide with confidence.
The short version is below — the full model, fee included, is published on how we make money.
Compare accreditation-checked WA installers, check your quote is fair, track your project, and monitor your savings — all free.
Receive pre-qualified leads, manage jobs and compliance, track payments, and grow your reputation on the platform.
White-label the platform under your brand, manage your own customers and installers, and keep the revenue from every job you win.
WA's solar taskforce
Our team brings real, hands-on WA solar experience. Rather than front the platform with a founder persona, we voice that know-how through the WattForce — each character owns one real part of the job.

WattMate is operated by WattMate Pty Ltd, which also operates BillWise and Solar Battery Perth. Same team, same standards, across all three.
Product, pricing, and rebate information on WattMate is drawn from published, official sources: Clean Energy Council approved-product lists, Synergy's published tariffs, official WA government rebate documentation, and the Clean Energy Regulator's STC clearing-house spot prices for federal rebate figures. We do not estimate these figures from memory.
Every rebate figure, tariff rate, and price on WattMate is checked against the published sources above before it goes live. We update these figures whenever Synergy publishes tariff changes or scheme rules change, alongside regular internal reviews of everything money-related on the site.
If something on the site looks out of date, let us know and we will check it. See our disclosure page for the full list of data sources and how we make money.
