About LG

Exited the Australian market; this profile is for existing systems only. LG Energy Solution was spun off from LG Chem in 2020. It makes cells for electric vehicles, grid storage and home batteries. Its RESU (Residential Energy Storage Unit) series was its home battery range in Australia. RESU batteries use NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) chemistry, which gives high energy density in a compact unit. The 48V RESU Prime series was built to pair with hybrid inverters, including SolarEdge and Fronius. If you already own an LG battery, check the warranty and support terms supplied with your system.
