Hoymiles says it set up its Australian company in 2022, selling microinverters. Its all-in-one home battery is HiOne, which stacks the hybrid inverter and the 8 kWh LFP battery modules as one unit, sized in 8 kWh steps that can be added to later. Hoymiles says it switches to backup in under 10 ms with a gateway that is still to be confirmed for Australia. The Clean Energy Council approved 30 HiOne models on 13 August 2026 for installation in Australia. Hoymiles says it was founded in 2012 and is listed on the Shanghai STAR Market, under the motto "Open Energy for All". Add-ons for HiOne, including a whole-home backup gateway and a two-way electric car charger, are announced with Australian dates still to be confirmed. HiOne is not on Synergy's supported list yet, so it is not currently eligible for the WA Battery Scheme rebate or Synergy's VPP. According to Hoymiles, HiOne is being tested with Synergy now, and approval is hopefully not far away. We'll update this page when it is on the list.
