Growatt says it was founded in Shenzhen in 2011 and set up its Australian subsidiary the same year. Growatt New Energy Australia Pty Ltd has held an Australian business number since September 2011 and is the local contact named on Growatt's battery warranty cards. Growatt says it sold inverters for its first years and launched home storage in 2015. The APX HV stacks 5 kWh LFP modules under a Growatt control unit and is built for Growatt's own inverters. It comes in a single-phase version and a three-phase version, both approved by the Clean Energy Council on 23 April 2026 for installation in Australia. The ALP LV stacks 5 kWh LFP packs on a wall or floor, up to ten, with approvals from September 2025. Each carries a 10-year warranty that falls to 3 years if the system is not kept on Growatt's monitoring platform. Growatt's MOD-XH, MID-XH, MIN TL-XH2, SPH and SPM hybrid inverters are on Synergy's Supported Solutions List. The inverter the single-phase APX datasheet names is not, so the WA rebate position depends on the inverter on the quote. Other scheme conditions apply.
