GoodWe Technologies began in Suzhou in 2010 making hybrid inverters, the equipment that lets a solar system charge a battery, and its batteries are still designed around those inverters. The company grew into a listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market under stock code 688390 and a staff of 4,521 by the end of 2025, and it keeps a quarter of them in research and development. Inverters remain the core of a range that has widened into battery systems, EV chargers and building-integrated solar panels. GoodWe Australia Pty Ltd has held an Australian business number since October 2015 and works from Rowville in Victoria. It is the importer named on GoodWe's Australian and New Zealand warranties, with a local service email and phone line. A warranty claim starts with the installer or distributor and is escalated to GoodWe if that fails. The Lynx Home F is GoodWe's high-voltage home battery for a GoodWe EH, EHB or ET hybrid inverter, built from 3.2 kWh modules stacked on the floor. The ESA combines a power module and Lynx D G2 battery modules in one unit for single-phase or three-phase homes, and both batteries use lithium iron phosphate cells. Its batteries are newer to Australia than the company itself: the Lynx Home F was on the Clean Energy Council's approved list from November 2022, and its current generation followed in July 2026. No GoodWe product appears on the council's register of suspended or de-listed products, while the ACCC's product safety site carries recall notices for some GoodWe inverters.
