About Empower

Empower is an energy storage manufacturer with CEC-approved residential battery products in the Australian market. Its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery systems are aimed at home energy storage for households adding or expanding solar. LFP cells avoid the thermal-runaway risks associated with older NMC chemistries, which makes them well suited to garage and indoor installation. With Perth's high solar irradiance, even a modestly sized battery can shift stored solar into the evening and offset consumption charged at the Synergy A1 tariff.
