Find your system's own shutdown steps before you touch anything

Important safety warning

Stop if anything is sparking, smoking, smells like burning, or is wet, and never do this in a storm. Call 000 if there's a fire or anyone is in danger

Step-by-step instructions:

1Find the shutdown sign. It's usually on or next to the inverter, or at the main switchboard
2It usually lists the switches to turn off and the order to do it in
3If you have a battery, follow the sign exactly and don't skip any switch it lists
4No sign, or can't read it? Stop here. Don't work out an order yourself. Ask your installer or a licensed electrician

• A red or orange light during the day means it needs a service: call your installer
• Don't keep switching it off and on
• Call your installer or a licensed electrician
• Check your system monitoring app for alerts

• No power generation on sunny days
• System monitoring app shows offline status
• The power is back on after an outage, but it still isn't making power
