Energizer error codes

38 codes documented in Energizer's inverter and battery manuals. Pick yours to see what it means, what you can safely check, and when to call your installer.

  • 10min Volt FaultThe grid voltage is out of range for the last 10 Minutes.
  • Bat Power LowThe battery power is low.
  • Bat Volt FaultBattery voltage fault.
  • DCI FaultDC component is out of limit in output current.
  • Eps Over LoadOver load in off grid mode.
  • Grid Freq FaultGrid frequency out of range.
  • Grid Lost FaultGrid is lost.
  • Grid Volt FaultGrid voltage out of range.
  • Ground FaultThe ground connection is failed.
  • HW Inv Cur FaultOutput current high detected by hardware.
  • Iso FaultThe isolation is failed.

When to call your installer or the warranty line

Your installer is your first warranty contact. If they've gone, the manufacturer's warranty line still covers the hardware. Don't open the inverter or battery case yourself: work inside it is for a licensed electrician.

If you see smoke, scorch marks or smell burning, switch the system off at the AC and PV isolators and call your installer. If anyone is in danger, call 000.

  1. Try the free fixes first

    Most faults are an isolator, a WiFi drop or a known error code. Start with the lookup and guides above.

  2. Then call the people who are responsible for it

    Your installer is your first warranty contact. If they've gone, the manufacturer's warranty line still covers the hardware.
