Certified

What WattMate Certified means

The mark tells you an installer's credentials have been reviewed, the installer agreement is signed, and they hold approval in the WattMate network. It is earned, not bought, and it has to stay earned.

WattMate Certified mark

The criteria

Four things the mark stands for

01

Credentials reviewed

A WA electrical contractor licence and ABN are required. SAA accreditation, NETCC signatory status and public liability insurance are recorded and reviewed by our team before approval.

02

Agreement signed

Every certified installer has signed the WattMate Installer Agreement, which sets response times, quality standards and customer-satisfaction obligations.

03

Selective approval

Not every applicant is approved. We select installers on reputation as well as credentials, and we come back to every applicant within two business days.

04

Reviewed over time

Certification is retained by quality, not tenure. We review feedback and completed installs periodically, and certified profiles that change are re-reviewed, so the mark keeps meaning something.

What certification does not mean: WattMate is an independent referral and operations platform, not the installer. We do not perform installation work, and your installation contract is with the installer you choose.

For installers

Using the mark

Approved installers can display the WattMate Certified mark on their website, vehicles and quotes while their approval stands. WattMate is a registered trade mark of WattMate Pty Ltd; the certified mark may not be altered, and use ends if approval lapses. Need the artwork or have a usage question? Email admin@wattmate.com.au.

Two ways in

Homeowners: look for the mark when comparing installers. WA installers: approval starts with a seven-minute application.
