BYD battery error code 2
BYD uses code 2 in more than one product range, and it doesn't always mean the same thing. Check which range your battery belongs to below.
WattMate is not affiliated with BYD. This page summarises BYD's own published documentation; your installer and BYD are the authority on your system. WattMate doesn't repair systems or make site visits.

When to call your installer or the warranty line
Your installer is your first warranty contact. If they've gone, the manufacturer's warranty line still covers the hardware. Don't open the inverter or battery case yourself: work inside it is for a licensed electrician.
If you see smoke, scorch marks or smell burning, switch the system off at the AC and PV isolators and call your installer. If anyone is in danger, call 000.
